American manned spacecraft module. Study 2005. The Andrews CEV Re-entry Module would be reusable and normally accommodate four crew. Six could be fitted in for the space-station ferry role.

The Launch Escape System would have a mass of 1991 kg, including 1048 kg of solid propellant. It would have a development cost of $107 million, a first unit cost of $23 million, and a launch preparation cost of $10.6 million per mission (excluding hardware). The RM itself would have a development cost of $ 6.191 billion, a first unit cost of $224 million, and a launch preparation cost of $37 million per mission (excluding hardware).
