- the CM 002 was transferred internally within North American from manufacturing to the test organization on July 8;
- the CM 009 checkout at North American continued with the central timing equipment and signal conditioner checkout completed, and the new 40-ampere-hour batteries for CSM 009 and 011 were shipped to KSC and North American, respectively; and
- the Grumman subcontract to Eagle-Picher for the LEM batteries was approved by NASA.
