Pakistani single-stage solid propellant tactical ballistic missile. Indigenous Pakistani design, developed by the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).

AKA: Abdali;Hatf 2. Status: Active. First Launch: 1989-02-01. Last Launch: 2007-03-03. Number: 5 . Payload: 500 kg (1,100 lb). Gross mass: 2,100 kg (4,600 lb). Height: 9.76 m (32.02 ft). Diameter: 0.56 m (1.83 ft). Span: 0.82 m (2.69 ft).

An initial two-stage missile design using Hatf-1 / French Stromboli engine technology was flown in January 1989, thought cancelled in 1994. Development then undertaken of a single-stage vehicle using new solid propellant motor technology with double the range of the first version. This was flown in March 2003 and given an operational designation.
