Worked at Marshall Spaceflight Center. Scientific Payload Specialist Selection 3 in 1984. Named as Alternate Payload Specialist (together with Eugene Trinh) to Taylor Wang and Van den Berg for Shuttle Flight STS-51B / Spacelab-3. Unsuccessful applicant for NASA astronaut Group 9. Worked at the Tennessee Space Institute.
