USAF Dynasoar Group - 1960
Number: 7. Selection announced: 1 April 1960. Requirement: Provide pilots for X-20A Dyna-Soar spaceplane flights. Qualification: Assigned from pool of active USAF and NASA Test Pilots.

Ten test pilots (7 USAF, 3 NASA) underwent physical examinations in August 1959. Seven were secretly selected in April 1960.

Dana William Harvey 'Bill' Dana. American Pilot Test Pilot. Born 3 November 1930.
Gordon Henry Henry Charles Gordon. American Pilot Astronaut. Born 23 December 1925. Died 24 September 1996.
Knight William Joseph (Pete) Knight. American Pilot Astronaut. Born 18 November 1929. Died 7 May 2004.
Rogers Russell Lee Rogers. American Pilot Astronaut. Born 12 April 1928. Died 13 September 1967.
Thompson Milton Orville (Milt) Thompson. American Pilot Astronaut. Born 4 May 1926. Died 6 August 1993.
