Aksyonov Chronology 27 March 1973 - Energia Engineer Cosmonaut Training Group 4 selected.. 15 September 1976 - Soyuz 22. Surplus Soyuz ASTP spacecraft modified with a multi-spectral camera manufactured by Carl Zeiss-Jena in place of the universal docking apparatus. Eight days were spent photographing the earth. Tested and perfected scientific-technical methods and devices for studying the geological characteristics of the earth's surface from outer space for economic purposes. 23 September 1976 - Landing of Soyuz 22. Soyuz 22 landed at 7:42 GMT, 150 km NW of Tselinograd. 5 June 1980 - Soyuz T-2. Test flight of new Soyuz T; docked with Salyut 6. Conducted testing and development of on-board systems in the improved Soyuz T series transport vehicle under piloted conditions. 9 June 1980 - Landing of Soyuz T-2. Soyuz T-2 landed at 12:38 GMT.
