Astronaut Group: Payload Specialist. Active Entered space service: February1988. Selected as USAF Weather Service Officer for a shuttle mission (backup to Carol Weaver).

Assigned to the headquarters of the Air Weather Service, Scott AFB, Illinois. Later worked in Fort Hood, Texas.
