Master of science in meteorology from Texas A and M, 1972, Ph.D. in Meteorology from University of Utah, 1980. US AIr Force Astronaut Career Astronaut Group: Payload Specialist. Inactive Entered space service: November 1985. Left space service: 1986. 1985 selected as USAF Air Weather Service Officer. He was assigned as backup for STS-61M. Worked at the Pentagon. Resigned from Air Force in 1995. Became principal director, Reconnaissance Systems Division, Engineering and Technology Group, National Systems Group (NSG).
