Astronaut Group: Journalist Group - 1990. Deceased Entered space service: 19 September 1990. Left space service: 7 February 1992. Cosmonaut training 1 October 1990 - 31 January 1992.

Head of the editorial staff of science for Krasnaya Zvezda. From 1998 a correspondent for the Interfax News Agency.
