Bachurin, Ivan Ivanovich (1942-) Russian test pilot cosmonaut, 1979-1992.

Graduated from Higher Air Force School in Orenburg, 1963. Graduated from Aerospace Institute Moscow, Department Akhtubinsk, 1973. Test pilot, Soviet Air Force. Head of Lapot test pilot detachment 1978 to 1987. Cosmonaut training January 1979 - November 1980. Transferred to Buran project 1987. Performed six test flights with the AeroBuran test aircraft. Retired from Air Force for medical reasons, then worked at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. Test pilot for aircraft project Alfa and until 1993, for "Thermoplan". From 1999 advisor for the National Aviation Committee.
