Astronaut Career

Astronaut Group: Payload Specialist. Inactive Entered space service: September 1988. Left space service: 1 December 1991. Selected in 1988 for the TERRA SCOUT US Army Project and was backup to Thomas Hennen for STS-44.

Continued military service at Fort Huachua, Arizona. Retired from the Army in 1996 and later worked as a businessman in Arizona.
