Brucker, Wilber M (1894-1968) American politician. Secretary of the Army 1955-1961.
Wilber M. Brucker , was secretary of the Army between 1955 and 1961. An attorney, he had also held a number of important government positions, including governor of Michigan in 1930-1932, prior to becoming secretary. Brucker had served with the Army in World War I. After leaving federal service Brucker returned to his law practice in Detroit
