Graduated from Military Pilot School, Kosice, 1974. Later graduated from Military Academy in Kosice. Slovak Air Force, pilot of 33rd Air Force Base in Malacky, Slovakia. From 1997 orientation at the Gagarin Center for Cosmonaut Training. Cosmonaut training 25 March to August 1998. Selected as back-up for Soyuz TM-29 mission.

Birth Place: Czeski-Tseshin, Moravia.
