Guy

Guy, Will C American engineer. Deputy to Samuel K Hoffmann at Rocketdyne from 1948-1978.

Under Guy's direction Rocketdyne mastered the problems of achieving stable combustion in liquid oxygen/kerosene engines. His greatest triumph was the evolutionary design of a baffle for the F-1 injector that allowed stable combustion in the largest rocket engine ever built.
