Harry H Hess American Scientist. Born 1906. Died 1969.

Harry H. Hess was one of the senior scientists involved in analysing the lunar samples returned to Earth by Project Apollo. Blair Professor of Geology at Princeton University, he was chair of the Space Science Board of the National Academy of Sciences during the Apollo era.
