James, Larry Dean (1956-) American engineer military spaceflight engineer astronaut, 1982-1987.

Bachelor of science in astronautical engineering from the USAF Academy, 1978. Master of science in astronautical engineering from MIT, 1982. National Security Management Course, Syracuse University, NY, 2002. Later with Office Space Systems in the Pentagon.
