Karashtin, Dr Vladimir Vladimirovich (1962-) Russian physician cosmonaut, 1989-2002.

Civilian Physician, Institute of Medical Biological Problems. Cosmonaut training 1 October 1990 - 21 January 1992. Participant on different long-duration experiments of IMBP (SFINCSS-99). Left cosmonaut corps involuntarily by order of the Director, IMBP. Left IMBP at his own request and was moved to other work in the Russian health care system.

Birth Place: Kaliningrad, Kaliningrad.
