Dr Aleksandr Alekseyevich Kiselyov Russian Physician Cosmonaut. Born 13 January 1934.

Personal: Male. Born in Moscow, Russia. MD Civilian Medical Doctor. Graduate work from 1953 to 1959 at First Moscow Medical Institute. Candidate of medical sciences degree, 1964. Doctorate of medical sciences degree, 1970. Civilian Physician.

Astronaut Career

Astronaut Group: Voskhod Physician Group - 1965. Inactive Entered space service: July 1965. Left space service: 1966. Trained for cancelled Voskhod long duration mission.

As of 1988 Professor, later General Director, NPO Medinfo, Moscow. Retired in 1996.

1 June 1965 - Voskhod Physician Cosmonaut Training Group selected.. The group was selected to provide trainees for planned Voskhod long-duration biomedical spaceflights to be made with a physician aboard.
