Lehrer, Tom (1928-) American mathematician and satirist, who penned the song "Wernher von Braun," dealing with the relationship of science to ethics.
Tom Lehrer was a satirist who wrote and recorded several folk songs in the 1960s that made light of current events. His last album, That Was the Year That Was (1965), contained the satirical song, "Wernher von Braun," dealing with the relationship of science to ethics.
