Leonard
Richard Leonard American Engineer. Born 1 March 1925. Tooling and plant facilities engineer for the Atlas.

Personal: Male. Born in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Leonard grew up in Chicago, Phoenix, and San Diego. After World War II service with the US Army in Europe, he went to college, receiving a degree in electrical engineering in 1949. After two years in the oil exploration industry, he joined Convair San Diego in 1951 in the tooling department. He worked on the Atlas program throughout his career, eventually becoming Manager of Plant Services. Leonard retired in 1991.
