Personal: Male. Born in Moscow, Russia. MD Institute of Medical Biological Problems Candidate of medical sciences degree, 1984 Worked at the IMBP in Moscow.

Astronaut Career

Astronaut Group: IMBP Group 5 - 1989. Inactive Entered space service: 25 January 1989. Left space service: 18 February 2003. Cosmonaut training 1 October 1990 - 31 January 1992. From 1994 Chief of IMBP Cosmonaut Team. Participant in several long duration experiments (including SFINCSS-99).

After leaving the cosmonaut group, he worked again at the IMBP.

Lukyanyuk Chronology

25 January 1989 - IMBP Cosmonaut Training Group 5 selected.. Physicians and biomedical specialist cosmonauts for planned missions to the Mir space station.
