Candidate of medical sciences degree, 1984 Worked at the IMBP in Moscow. Cosmonaut training 1 October 1990 - 31 January 1992. From 1994 Chief of IMBP Cosmonaut Team. Participant in several long duration experiments (including SFINCSS-99). After leaving the cosmonaut group, he worked again at the IMBP.
