Astronaut Group: Payload Specialist. Inactive Entered space service: 8 April 1985. Left space service: 18 January 1986. Backup for Robert Cenker (STS-61C).

Program manager for on-orbit performance, Martin Marietta Astro Space in Princeton, New Jersey.
