Vladimir Prtrovich Nikitsky Soviet Engineer Cosmonaut. Born 8 March 1939.

Personal: Male. Born in USSR. Central Design Bureau of Experimental Mashine-building (now RKKE). Degree from Moscow Chemical Technical Institute, 1961. PhD, 1973 Engineer at Korolev design bureau.

Astronaut Career

Astronaut Group: Energia Engineer Group 2 - 1967. Inactive Entered space service: 30 November 1967. Selected as cosmonaut on 30 November 1967, but appointment was never confirmed.

Later scientist at Korolev Bureau, then Professor in mathematics and mechanics, 1995.
