Rebrov, Mikhail Fedorovich (1931-1998) Russian journalist cosmonaut, 1965-1974.

First at Bauman, then completed degree at the Zhukovsky Military Engineering Academy. Military Journalist at Krasnaya Zvezda. Selected in June 1965 for a Voskhod journalist flight, but did not go into official cosmonaut training. Claimed later to have some involvement with the Soviet lunar landing program from 1965 to 1970. Free lance writer. Applied for cosmonaut corps again in 1989, but was rejected due to his age. Died of cancer.
