Wilson, Charles E 'Electric Charlie' (1886-1972) American industrialist, headed General Electric and worked with Truman's Office of Defense Mobilization in the 1950s.
Called "Electric Charlie" to distinguish him from "Engine Charlie" - the head of General Motors, who served as Eisenhower's Secretary of Defense just a few years later.
