Yazdovsky, Valeri Aleksandrovich (1930-) Russian engineer cosmonaut, 1968-1982.

Graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute, 1954 Miner, then Civilian Engineer, Korolev OKB. Involved in the development of the Vostok, Voskhod and Soyuz spacecraft. Assigned on the prime crew flight engineer for Soyuz 13, but personal differences between him and Commander Vorobyov resulted in the crew being grounded) . Engineer at NPO Energia, from which he retired.

Birth Place: Yenyakievo.
