Military communications and data relay satellite. Replacement for the Potok series for relay of data from military surveillance satellites. Originally planned for deployment from 2001, the first launch did not come until 2011.09.20.

Configuration believed to be a box main body, with two long-span solar panels, and large deployed parabolic antennae for data reception.
