A modified version of the STAR 20. The STAR 20B motor has increased case structural capability over the standard STAR 20. A filament-wound, fiberglass-epoxy case contains the CTPB propellant grain. The lightweight, external nozzle is a composite of graphite, plastic, and steel. The consumable pyrogen igniter is actuated by two SBASI zero-time-delay initiators. Total impulse 79,155 kgf-s. Propellant mass fraction 0.893.
