Glushko storable liquid rocket engine. Study 1970. Glushko studied liquid propellant engines of 'several thousand metric tons thrust' in the period 1963-1970. Largest thrust chamber ever tested in Russia was Glushko's RD-270 of 680 metric tons thrust.
