Italian gamma ray astronomy satellite. The Italian gamma-ray observatory satellite (Astrorivelatore Gamma ad Imagini Leggero) carried the GRID 0. Astronomy, Gamma satellite built by Carlo Gavazzi Space SpA for ASI, Italy. Launched 2007. Used MITA bus.

3-200 MeV wide-field gamma ray camera and the Super-AGILE 15-45 keV detector hard X-ray detector.

AGILE is an Italian satellite that was launched by a PSLV-C8 rocket from Sriharikota in southern India at 10:00 UT on 23 April 2007. The 325 kg satellite carries X-ray and gamma ray spectrometers to study astronomical objects in the Galaxy.
