Danchik, Robert J
American engineer. John Hopkins APL 1967-2000. Transit program manager for 16 years.

Born: 1933-05-03.

Danchik received his BSEE. from Pennsylvania State University in 1955 and his MSEE from Drexel University in 1960. After spending seven years at the Martin and Westinghouse Electric Companies, he joined the John Hopkins APL and worked in the Space Department for 33 years. For 16 of those years, he served as the APL Program Manager for Transit. At the time of his retirement, Mr. Danchik was the APL Space Department's Assistant Head for Operations.
