Military communications and data relay satellite. Replacement for the Potok series for relay of data from military surveillance satellites. Originally planned for deployment from 2001, the delayed until 2011.09.20. Military relay satellite built by ISS Reshetnev, Russia. Launched 2011 - 2015.

Configuration believed to be a box main body, with two long-span solar panels, and large deployed parabolic antennae for data reception.
