Johnson, Vincent L
American engineer, at USN 1947-1960, NASA 1960-1974. Program manager for Scout, Delta, and Centaur.

Vincent L. Johnson was a long-time NASA official, joining NASA in 1960 after working as an aerospace engineer with the Navy since 1947. He managed the Launch Vehicle and Propulsion Programs Division at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and had primary responsibility for the program management of Scout, Delta, and Centaur launch vehicle development. He retired from NASA in 1974, after having served as Deputy Associate Administrator for Space Science.
